While my bride was away on vacation with her dad and sister, I was home in the evenings. The kids are older now, so they were off doing their own thing. I've always been spiritualā€”believed in a higher callingā€”but I wouldnā€™t call myself an astrology expert. I knew enough to have a conversation, but Iā€™m not the person for a deep-dive.

Then out of nowhere, on a quiet Friday nightā€”day two of my wife being goneā€”I had this idea hit me like lightning: start this company. The name came. The vision came. And then the doubt: Iā€™m not a programmer.

So grabbed my laptop, and I started. I kept going. And by the time my wife came back, Afa was alive, the site was liveā€¦ and Eqqoh was born.
